In the immediate vicinity of the Hotel Kristall there are versatile hiking areas that offer an optimal hiking experience for every level of experience. Beginners from Meransen can hike beginners to the Moserhütte up to a height of 1940 meters. Alpine summit tours for clear days with the best view, cozy forest trails through shady and dense alpine forests – even with baby carriages! Especially for families with small children, the community Sexten designed the pacifier mile, with adventure playgrounds and picnic facilities.To present hiking fans only a few delicacies: Erdpyramiden plates, Lizard peak, Angerer Alm, Fassaner Höhenweg, Lanzwiese. And there are many more to discover. A highlight is the panoramic platform on the Gitschberg in the adjacent Eisacktal. If the climb is too difficult for you, take the comfortable panoramic lift, which you can use with your Almencard.

Um Wanderfans nur einige Schmankerl zu präsentieren: Erdpyramiden Platten, Eidechsspitze, Angerer  Alm, Fassaner Höhenweg, Lanzwiese. Und es gibt noch viele mehr zu entdecken. The possibilities are as diverse as the landscapes to be explored. Whether you want to go for a leisurely stroll or a mountain hike – there are numerous possibilities in the Puster Valley. The very sporty guests can try out their skills in high alpine hiking. And who is not out of breath after that can explore the area with the mountain bike or on the back of the horses.

Located at the foot of the Dolomites, there is much to discover for hikers in the Alpine region. The Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offer an incomparable panorama. The impression of their unique beauty will long be remembered. Between the mountain slopes you will find alpine pastures, crystal clear mountain lakes and rustic alpine huts, where you can enjoy the culinary treasures of South Tyrol.

But also away from the hiking trails, the Puster Valley has everything to offer that makes for a perfect summer holiday. The picturesque town of Meransen (Maranza in Italian) is reminiscent of a romantic postcard motif. Here is also her Hotel Kristall. You can play mini golf or use the indoor tennis court directly in Maranza. From here you can discover the historic old town of Bressanone, the oldest town in Tyrol, and marvel at the Cathedral of Bressanone. Everywhere you will find testimonies of the 1000 year old city history. Also Vals is not far away, where she could get an impression of an original mountain village.
